Craniotherapy Services

I offer two craniotherapies that can help restore health on physical, emotional and spiritual levels.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentile, hands-on therapy that promotes health in the body, mind and spirit. It interacts with healing forces in the body to promote a sense of well-being, deep relaxation and healing. In particular, it helps to regulate the nervous system. With biodynamic craniosacral therapy,, I listen deeply to your system and am guided to support your own innate healing process.

"Duncan is a gifted practitioner in these healing arts. You can not go wrong in booking a session with her. When I was diagnosed with a compound fracture of a lower vertebra, she helped me immeasurably."

Craniosacral Therapy can Help You Find Relief from:

Neck injuries
Back injuries
TMJ
Trauma
Brain injuries
Headaches
Nervous system disorders
Sleep disorders

…And more

Brain Integration Therapy

Brain Integration Therapy is a gentle, hands-on therapy that helps to improve brain functioning, learning ability and memory. Through muscle monitoring, I locate specific areas of the brain that are stressed and negatively effect everyday functioning. I relieve the stress through craniosacral techniques, acupressure and emotional stress release. The brain can be repatterned to function at 100% of its potential.

Brain Integration Therapy can improve the following:

Attention & concentration
Memory
Fatigue
Problem solving
Test anxiety
Communication

…And more

“Duncan is extremely skilled at what she does. Her cranial sessions are healing, calming, and grounding. Thank you Duncan”

Sessions that include both craniosacral and brain integration therapies have been very effective for clients. Many report greater ease and competence in their work, communication and personal relationships.

What is a Session Like?

First, we will spend a few minutes talking about what has brought you to receive craniosacral and/or brain integration therapy. Then, you will lay on my massage table, fully clothed. I will work with you to help you get comfortable here. You will be in a safe space and I will assist you in feeling that. I am guided both by my intuition and the training I have received. I may start work at your feet, sacrum or head.

We will communicate throughout the session regarding sensations you may be having or that I am feeling. I want this to be a cooperative process, one with which you are involved. I will gently hold various areas of your body and ask that the inherent health in your system show itself to us.

Often, physical or emotional challenges will arise and then we work to bring the best and highest good to you. I have had people process past or present trauma, back injuries, neck injuries, TMJ, and a host of other issues on my table. I may also use a system of muscle monitoring to identify and correct the areas in your brain that have lost their integration.

About Me

I came to this work through my own healing experience. I have had several auto accidents that caused neck, back and brain injuries. Following those accidents, I received both craniosacral and brain integration therapies. These helped to save my life. I have followed my inner spiritual guidance to offer these therapies to others. I am honored to work with people of all ages and abilities or disabilities.

I graduated as a Certified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist from the School of Inner Health in Denver where I am a Teaching Assistant. I am registered with the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America. I also have certification as a Brain Injury Specialist from the Brain Injury Association of America. I studied under Susan McCrossin and Dr. Charles Krebs, co-developers of Learning Enhancement Advanced Program and Melbourne Applied Physiology. I have been practicing brain Integration therapy for over 20 years.
